Te’Ambera Ware Ford is a graduate of Jackson State University where she received her bachelor’s and master’s degree in History. She has been a public school educator for over a decade. She is an accomplished playwright and author.

Te’Ambera is the founder of the Te’Ambera Ware Foundation, a 501©(3) nonprofit organization established in 2019, and created The Jay Project, inspired by her son Jay, a program to help Black boys and parents envision and reimagine a positive future.
